Assessment evidence can be gathered through a variety of methods. Often, it is necessary to include supplementary evidence from an employer or another party to contribute to making a valid judgement about a students competence.
This evidence is gathered from a third-party needs to align with the rules of evidence, in the same manner as other evidence that is collected is towards competence.
To assist, it is common practice to provide the third-party with a template to ensure the evidence will be useful and valuable in contributing to a decision of competence.
This template provides you with (a) guidance on how to ensure the third-party is suitably qualified to comment on the student's performance, and (b) a format that will provide the third party with clarity on how to formulate their comments.
